I call this one RAGHORN2, from Louisville, my fifth calf,
from VIETNAM. He made it to America in 1990, linked up with me in 1992 and celebrated his 24th birthday with us. He lives with his wife, son  Jimmy and daughter Jasmine. His mother and sister also came to the U.S.with him. He works for a company that cleans big chemical tanks all over the U.S. He now has 2 bows and has killed a 5x5 bull in Colorado.

This is the sixth calf,my daughter, Jennifer and her husband(The Great Big Dog) and her small herd. The oldest boy, John, who is nine, has been shooting for two years. When the other calves get big enough they will start shooting, too.

ELKINVELVET, the seventh calf, another Jennifer. When she started shooting, it cost me a dozen arrows per tournament. She got better and while still a teen-ager, moved up to compete with the women and gave them you know what. She moved out after graduation, got a job, a pick-up, and is planning to go to college someday. She comes home quite often and goes hunting with me. So far she hasn't connected but there is still hope.

She wants to go to Colorado with me the next time I go. I guess I'll have plenty of help around camp, and for packing out anything we get. I told her that if and when she gets her first kill, she will have to do all the work. I'll sit back and coach.

LILELK, my youngest calf, Stephaine. She can shoot pretty well when she wants too, but prefers to hunt with a camera.

I told her that when she graduates, I'll take her out west to see all the beautiful places we can find. Rocky Mountain National Park, Yellowstone Park, the Grand Tetons, and maybe on up to Glacier. She's looking forward to that.
